Thanks so much to Just Energy -- justenergy.com -- in Ontario for ringing my doorbell three times (at once) this morning. I asked the woman if she saw the sign on my doorbell that says "No Soliciting... (even if you are not selling)" and she said "Yes, I read your sign, but we ring EVERY doorbell." I told her that sign is there because my wife is on night shift and sleeps during the day, and she told me flat out "I really don't care, that's not my concern, sir." Who would do business with a company who's reps act like this?! (more)

. I'm pretty sick of putting my left foot in front of my right foot. I care alot about my two friends and the little family I have and I really try to pull my weight in all aspects of my life. My dad... went insane and revealed he only ever really gave a f*ck about his fucking art career after 15 years of squatting in buildings and living life according to his "artistic" insanity I don't even have a father to show for it. My brother can't deal with it and has gone on violent drunken tirades for a fucking year and when he finally stopped and we got a roomate to help pay rent he went nuts again and destroyed the f*cking wall between our rooms after we got into a fight over him being a dick to my mom. I'm still not done with high school and all I get is shit for what I haven't accomplished, as far as I'm fucking concerned not jumping off the wiliamsberg bridge is big enough. I'm not a f*cking pathetic crap, I'd just like someone to ask how my goddamn day was. (more)

I hate not knowing what is making me feel so sad and alone at night when I lay in bed thinking about life. I'm a good student, I play sports, have a bunch of friends, I love my family and they support... me to the best they can. Many would say I have it made, that my future is set and I can do anything I want. But in my mind, there is just something missing. I am thinking one reason might just be because I don't have a girlfriend (most of my friends do). I was at a new years party tonight and all of the people their had "significant others" except for me. As the ball went down and everyone was standing near the TV, all I could think of to do was stand in the background and watch. I've also wanted to travel the world, being stuck at home just sucks, and it seems there is so much out there to look at that you cannot experience going to school (dang high school). I love my life and am thankful for everything I get, and don't ask for much in return, but there is still that one thing missing.. (more)

You wouldn't believe just how much I do relate to what you are saying and your personality.You are a "fixer". You desire harmony in your world.I get that.I too have always been this type of person.But... unfortunately I have (in my youth) also had a tendancy to repress my own feelings and desires in an attempt to please everyone else around me. It will leave you feeling bitter,angry and resentful if your not careful and one day you may wake up and realize that your whole life has been a lie and you no longer know who you really are.I thought it was everyone else who had the problem and didn't want to see it any other way.It has took me a lifetime to figure out that I may have really been the one standing in my own way.These girls were just there for your learning and if you choose not to see it that way then you may suffer for it.You've got to start standing up for yourself by being the true unique person that you are.They can't mistreat you if you don't allow it. (more)
